Schedule of Walks during 2012

2012 was more of an average year where we managed to undertake a total of eleven walks, with just the December walk having to be cancelled due to the weather conditions on the day.  The Christmas walk, on 13th January, was once again well attended by nineteen walkers, with Brenda and John joining us afterwards for the meal at the Ring of Bells, in North Bovey.  In addition to the meal, Colin held his annual fancy dress competition with the theme of the Nativity / Santa's Grotto.

Dry and Cloudy, with a strong wind and occasional showers. Skylarks, Dunnock, Bullfinch, Goldfinch, Buzzard, Rabbit & Grasshopper. Foxworthy Bridge. Frosty start - Clear skies, warm & sunny (very Springlike). Snowdrops. Brian, Hywel & Sandra turned back at Foxworthy Bridge.

John and Brenda were unable to take part in the walk but joined us for the meal in the Ring of Bells.
